Synopsis:

This course is designed for foreign workers with some basic knowledge of English. It serves to improve the quality of their English conversation and vocabulary. Words used on the shop floor are introduced in the course.

This level is for entrants who are weak in both spoken and written English.

    Course Objective:

    On completion of this course, participants will be able to speak in simple sentences.

    • Give simple instructions

    • Comprehension passages

    Suitable for new foreign workers.

    Entry Requirements:

    Participants are assumed to have some knowledge of English, but are not able to communicate effectively.

    Training Methodology:

    This course is delivered through interactive training approach.
     

    Assessment Methodology:

    Pre-assessment and Post-assessment will be conducted.
     

    Certification:

    A Certificate of Proficiency will be awarded to participants upon completing and passing the assessment with minimum attendance 75%.
