Course Objective:
On completion of this course, participants will be able to apply suitable SQC techniques and tools to control and improve critical manufacturing processes at different phases of work problems. The focus will be on the interpretation of control charts for acceptable tolerant ranges in a process.

- Nature of Variation
- Defining SQC; Aspects of Statistics
- Difference between Defect and Defective
- Acceptance Sampling; Defining Process
- The Seven QC Tools.

Entry Requirements:
Participants are assumed to:
- Have a minimum secondary school education with Mathematics as a subject; or
- Be able to listen, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5 High Intermediate ('N' Levels) and above; and;
- Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 5 High Intermediate ('N' Levels) and above.

This course is delivered through lectures, group activities and demonstration.
Certification:
A Certificate of Proficiency will be awarded to participants upon completing and passing the assessment. Otherwise, a Certificate of Participation will be issued to those who attained a minimum attendance of 75%.
