- Importance of cleaning tools and instruments
- Importance of returning tools, instruments and materials
- Handling of worn out tools and instrument procedures
- Importance of clearing the waste
Abilities:
- Prepare tools, instruments and materials for biomedical product’s assembly tasks
- Perform biomedical product’s assembly tasks
- Perform housekeeping of work area

Entry Requirements:
Participants are assumed to:
- Have a basic knowledge of the Singapore Workplace Safety and Health requirements;
- Be able to follow written and oral work instructions;
- Be able to listen, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3 High Beginning (PSLE) and above; and;
- Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 3 High Beginning (PSLE) and above.
Training Medium:
This course is conducted in English.
Training Methodology:
This course is delivered through lectures, demonstration and hands-on practice.
Assessment Methodology:
Practical/Written assessment is conducted at the end of the course.
Certification:
A Certificate of Proficiency will be awarded to trainees upon completing and passing the assessment. Otherwise, a Certificate of Participation will be issued to those who attained a minimum attendance of 75%.
