For Whom:
Suitable for a broad range of roles and responsibilities, but not limited to, such as operators, technicians, clerks, officers, supervisors, executives, managers, professionals, jobseekers and individuals who are interested to implement 5S principles effectively.
Entry Requirements:
Learners are assumed to:

Have basic knowledge of housekeeping concepts;

Be able to listen, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4 Low Intermediate (Lower Secondary) and above; and
-
Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 4 Low Intermediate (Lower Secondary) and above.
Training Medium:
This course is conducted in either English or Mandarin.

Training Methodology:
The course will use a combination of the following methods to ensure effective learning and skill development:

Asynchronous e-learning: To allow learners to access and complete training materials at their own pace and time, enhancing flexibility and individual learning effectiveness.

Lectures: To provide learners with a foundation for further learning. In this course, lectures are effective for conveying foundational knowledge, such as statistical analysis concepts and data organization.

Demonstrations: To provide visual and practical examples, enhancing comprehension and illustrating real-world applications.

Practical Exercises: To offer opportunities for learners to apply newly acquired knowledge, reinforcing learning through hands-on practice.

Assessment Methodology:
An oral assessment and a practical performance assessment are conducted at the end of the course. These assessments provide a comprehensive evaluation of candidates’ knowledge and abilities.

Certification:
An individual who successfully complete the course and obtain competency in the assessments will be awarded a Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore and a Certificate of Participation from ELITC.
