The HRD Committee was formed in December 1998 with more than 25 members. Most of them are electronic companies and associates in Singapore. ​

Objectives

The objectives of the Committee are: ​

• To provide a network for HRD professionals on HRD development trends and issues within the Electronics Industry ​
• To improve the field of HRD in:
• Leveraging with external bodies and other relevant bodies on HRD issues.
– Such as SSG, SDF, ITE, MOM, e2i, training institutions, etc. ​
• Acting as a resource pool for interested member companies to leverage on HRD resources / programs available from member companies.
• To share their interests and concerns to identify and collate HRD concerns and needs of member companies.

List of Members

The HRD Committee has an Executive Council (EXCO). The existing Exco-members are: ​

• Chairperson: Mr Toh Tuck Wai (STMicroelectronics Pte Ltd);
• Honorary Secretary: Ajayan.Ramachandran (Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific Pte Ltd);
• Member: Ms Lim Lee Chin (ELITC); ​

Meetings are held quarterly and member companies take turn to host the meetings.
