Synopsis:

This course is developed to support new hires to manage their work stress under fast-paced work environment. It provides effective techniques for coping with changes, developing adaptability skills and managing workplace stress.

 

Course Objective:

On completion of this course, participants will be able to manage stress and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

  • Introduction to workplace adaptability
  • Manage change and develop adaptability skills
  • Introduction to stress in the workplace
  • Key stress management techniques
  • Stress management success

Suitable for new hires.

Entry Requirements:

Participants are assumed to:

  • Be able to listen, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3 High Beginning (PSLE) and above; and
  • Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to Workplace Numeracy (WPN) level 3 High Beginning (PSLE) and above.
Training Medium:

This course can be conducted in English/Mandarin.

 

Training Methodology:

This course is delivered through lectures, group activities and role-plays.

 
Certification:

A  Certificate of Participation will be issued to those who attained a minimum attendance of 75%.
