Training Needs in MedTech Sector Through WSQ Qualified Courses
Sector
Overview
The
Medical Technology sector is an important part of Singapore's fast-growing
biomedical sciences industry.
To
date, Singapore has attracted various large MedTech companies to establish
commercial operations, research and development centers as well as
manufacturing facilities.
Medical
products are subject to stringent regulations given the need to protect
public health and safety. Therefore, a key consideration for medical device
companies is the need to provide training for the workers with strong
emphasis on compliance and quality.
