(WSQ)

CERTIFIED OPERATIONS PROFESSIONAL (COP)

Programme Objective

The Certified Operations Professional (COP) course is a WSQ certification of WDA. Concepts in supervising and managing areas of operations management are covered in this course and they are applicable across all industries whereby management of operations are involved. 

Course Details

The course modules comprise the following:

• Supervise Teams at Work (STW)

• Supervise Work Improvement Processes (SWIP)

• Supervise Quality Procedures (SQP)

• Supervise Workplace Safety and Health Practices (SWSH)

Although all modules can be taken independently, it is preferred that the first 3 modules are taken in that order. A Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be awarded for completing each of the modules, and the COP for obtaining SOAs for all 4 modules.

Duration

Modules STW and SWSH - 24 hours per module

Modules SWIP and SQP - 16 hours per module                                Full COP course - 80 hours

Target Group

This course is developed for professionals, managers, executives and technicians (PMETs) to equip them with new and better skills in supervising and managing of operations. Participants must have good understanding of English as they are expected to be able to plan, organize, control and lead subordinates at their workplace.
