This course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills in performing autonomous maintenance activities on machines and equipment at their workplaces. Individuals and their organizations will be able to benefit from the good practices and the required standards learned in this course.

 

 

 

 

Course Objective

On completion of this module, learners will have the knowledge and application skills in performing autonomous maintenance activities on machines and equipment at their workplaces.

 

 

Course Outline
  1. Conduct equipment cleaning and inspection activities.

  2. Carry out corrective actions against abnormalities.

  3. Maintain optimal equipment condition.

 

Course Assessment

Practical performance and oral/written assessments are conducted at the end of the training.

 

For Whom Production and technical specialists who operate machines and equipment to manufacture products.

 

 

Duration

24 hours

 

 

Certification After successful completion and assessment of the course, participant will be awarded Statement of Attainment (SOA)

 

Assumed Skills & Knowledge

-  Attended "Use Basic Hand Tools" module under WSQ CGM-I program;

-  Completed PSLE and are able to speak, read and write basic English; and 

-  ESS Level 3
