Certificate in Autonomous Maintenance

This course is developed for production operators involved in production processes and operating production machines. In modern manufacturing environment where Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is practiced, the production operators are expected to perform autonomous maintenance which include machine cleaning, lubricating, basic machine set-up and maintenance work to prevent equipment deterioration in addition to their main duties of production work. 

 

Course Objectives

 

 

  1. To support the concept of autonomous maintenance, whereby production operators are able to perform machine cleaning, lubricating and basic maintenance work to prevent equipment deterioration in addition to their main duties of production work.

  2. To provide a certifiable course to upgrade production workers with little formal education.

Production Operators with Primary/Secondary School education.

 

Duration

40 hours.

 

Language of Instruction

This programme can be conducted in either English or Mandarin.

 

Certification

The Certificate of Proficiency will be awarded to participants who have successfully completed the course work and practical tests.
