English is commonly used in the working environment today. Knowledge of English will allow two-way communication to be much easier and instructions to be carried out more accurately and effectively. This will avert costly mistakes in production due to misunderstanding and misinterpreting instructions.

This course is designed for participants to improve the quality of their English conversational skills and basic understanding of English.

Course Objective

This level focuses on conversational English and Grammar up to Primary 5 and 6 standards. It is for entrants who are slightly proficient in spoken English but weak in written English.

Upon completion of training at this level, trainees should be more conversant in English. They should be able to read and understand simple memo.

Oral and written
Listening skills

Non-compulsory pre-course test is available upon request at $40.00* per participant.

For Whom

From new foreign workers who have some knowledge of English to production operators.

Duration

30 hours.

Certification

A Certificate will be awarded to trainees upon completing and passing oral, written and listening skills tests. Otherwise, a Certificate of Participation will be issued to trainees who attained a minimum attendance of 75%.
