English is commonly used in the working environment today. Knowledge of English will allow two-way communication to be much easier and instructions to be carried out more accurately and effectively. This will avert costly mistakes in production due to misunderstanding and misinterpreting instructions.

This course is designed for participants to improve the quality of their English conversational skills and basic understanding of English.

Course Objective

To develop communication competence by acquiring the ability to understand, speak and write in English.

Course Outline

This course focuses on spoken English and Grammar at Primary 5 to 6 standard. It is for entrants who are proficient in spoken English but weak in written English.

For Whom

From new foreign workers who have some knowledge of English to production operators.

Duration

30 hours.

Certification

A Certificate of Proficiency will be awarded to trainees upon completing and passing both oral and written tests. Otherwise, a Certificate of Participation will be issued to trainees who attained a minimum attendance of 75%.
